Anchorage is known for its mascot "flat Seymoury". People take him with them to all kinds of places and events. One day he decided to go and do some research. So he got in his car and found a place on 36th and Denali that was perfect for research. He parked his car and headed up the stairs of this beauty of Architectural Design. He stopped by the bronze statue at the top of the stairs and read all about William Seward. Continuing on into the doors he spotted an old friend. As he waved to his friend, the man headed away from him and went toward the elevators behind the check out desk. Before Stanley could reach him, the elevator doors closed. So he had to wait for the next one. When he got off of the elevators on the third floor he saw in front of him a display pointing to the Alaska display. He thought to himself, "Well, I bet that's where I will find him" As he headed that way he passed by the Anne Stevens room and a wall full of art. In front of him were doors, so he entered in and found himself at a roundabout. He walked over to it and looked down into another room. He spotted his friend and waved. Following the roundabout to the right he found an elevator. Taking it down to the second floor, he stepped out into the Alaska Room. At the reference desk he asked "Does Captain cook sail the seven seas?" His friend then appeared from behind the desk.
Happy New year! (this box is missing, but please still visit this room it is awesome. Someone took the book and never returned it.)
