Clues:
Drive or Bike to Trailside Park. Explore the Park. See who’s playing ball, take the kids to the playground, enjoy a picnic (under the small shelter or one of the other tables), get in some batting practice in the cages. Rest in the shade.

To find your Quercus [pronounced KWERK-us]...that’s the Latin name for Oak....you will need to locate the hard top trail that runs along the east side of the in-line hockey rink. The trail comes off the parking lot near the park entrance, goes north and then snakes west to put bikers on the W&OD trail. If you are approaching from the parking lot, walk over the wooden bridge, towards the woods and the hockey rink. As you near the hockey rink you will see a sidewalk to your left leading to a set of bleachers. From the intersection of the sidewalk and the trail, count 28 steps as you continue along the trail. Look to your right for a stump with a fallen tree beyond it. Your Quest lies between the base of the stump and the fallen tree. Carefully push the leaves and rocks away and you will find the letterbox wrapped in burlap. Be discrete if people are around.
