“Our First Vermont”
We’ve known each other for nine plus years;
Through sportsmen’s clubs we share our peers.
Then one day, with both of us single;
Something happened, it made us tingle.
Joined at the soul, from the very beginning;
Everyone noticed, since we both have been singing.
Two months in, and there was something I heard,
Letterbox? Letterbox? Such an interesting word.
Can I have the web site; I’ll give this a look;
It took but a week, now I'm off the hook.
Print clues in the morning, hike after noon;
Figure a mystery, carve soup with a spoon.
This Box was first found in 2010...I have now added the nearest city in order to make it easier to find.
I have a house in Vermont, so Boxin’ we went;
One great late fall weekend, we surely spent.
Here I planted a box, to remember three days;
I invite you to find it, in the following ways:
Jamaica, not the nation, the Country Store begins your fun;
Via Depot or on Water, count either as Bridge 1.
Find where nature is loud and you are on Bridge 2;
Can't right, can't right, best park on left, its fun to be here too.
Back on the road called J-19, you're looking at Bridge 3;
In this area I did smile, and surely so did she.
A little more and there’s Bridge 4;
Suspended off the ground.
Inside that gate, 3 feet, not straight;
Under the turtle your box is found.
Now this quest was short, for a particular reason;
To quickly leave this area, would be spiritual treason.
No more clues, no stress or clock;
Your search for this Box is over;
Now take a walk with one you love,
Or at least just take Rover. (:>)
Enjoy
