**** THIS SERIES HAS BEEN PULLED FOR THE SEASON. HOWEVER, YOU SHOULD CHECK OUT THE NEW SERIES (SPRING FLOWERS) FOR THE SPRING AND SUMMER SEASON, IN HONOR OF T1'S MOM WHO WOULD HAVE LOVED HAVING ALL THESE FLOWERS NEAR HER GRAVESITE!*****

Having been inspired by all of our Letterboxing Buddies down the Cape and in Maine, we have placed our first handcarved series -- mostly done by Traveler 2! Happy Hunting! This may not be a permanent placement, since we still need some permission, but for the season, please have fun but also handle with care and respect.

This series is located in the Oak Hill Cemetery in Bellingham, Massachusetts. It is very easy to access, since it is right near Rte. 495 by the Walmart Plaza. It is a tricky turn coming from the highway, however, so please be careful, or turn around and access it from 109 as if you were coming from Medway. After turning in the entry furtherest from Walmart, turn right onto an older path, and turn left. Park your car near a bench lovingly placed by the Finlay family. Continue walking down this path until you see the stone marked for Michael and Elizabeth's daughter who died at less than two years of age. Turn left, towards a large bush which holds your first treasure, the Misty Moon Letterbox. Please rehide carefully, as it is completely hidden!

Next, make your way to the end of the fence ahead. You will find a water spigot there. Walking up along the fence, Griffin looks upon the seventh marker which holds RIP in Bellingham box. After carefully rehiding, head back towards the path your car was on. Some of the travelers wanted to throw a box all the way to Staples' roof for you to look for, but better judgment prevailed.

As you walk back, look for a Tempest which aligns with a Bishop. From here walk thirty small steps towards the fence. In a broken stump you will find Skullboy carefully hiding in his letterbox. Rehide well, and walk back towards the path again. You will find a stone which shares its name with a popular family restaurant in Bellingham, known for their cinnamon buns and broached chicken. Next to this stone is a bush which housees the Graveyard Ghost Letterbox, covered with pine cones. Please be sure to recove, because otherwise the box will be visible. Do notjust replace the box, but rehide with care, because we don't want to lose the ghostie!

Now you are heading for the last letterbox, which contains the logbook! It is the Jack's in the Box Letterbox. Passing your car, look for a break in the fence. Walk along the fence for 33 steps, until you come to the ninth post. Look to your right and find two dead trees, one is upright on another horizontal tree. Jack's hiding in the vertical tree. Please log in here, and rehide the box well. Happy hunting!
