RETIRED
This may not be the prettiest walk, but if you're passing through South Jersey and want to add a box by jumping off I295 S, then this is the box for you! (Stretch your legs then go farther into Rancocas Woods for some atmosphere.)
Exit 43A to the 1st light. Turn left into Park.
Park your car in lot.
Continue to walk through the parking lot, past a gate on a paved road.
The road turns into a sand/dirt road.
Go right at the white pipeline valve. Take the straight (right) fork.
At about the 2nd tower, take the left fork which becomes the center of 3 paths.
Take about 145 steps past the extra tall, yellow & red marker.
You will pass 2 stacks of old logs that can be seen through the brush to your right.
Along the edge you will find the most macro "micro" box you'll ever see! Inside is the box you want.
If you continue on, you can take a break at the edge of the Rancocas Creek and then turn around and bear left and return up the other side.
Do beware of dog walkers, ATVs and construction vehicles when there is a project.
If there's been considerable rain, the path is soft but very navigable.
If you have time before you get back on I295, try the Stilton Box, about 8 min away.
Please e-mail us and let us know the conditions of the boxes, and how the clues are.
Thanks for finding our boxes!
Happy Hunting!
