Come, Choctaw people, to celebrate around the burial mound of your ancestors.
You seek the drum which moves the ceremonial dance. Circle the mound and step out on the deck to observe the lake. Turn and face the mound, take the path to the left and walk until the fence ends. Step around the end of the fence to the lake side of the first small stump, and find the drum underneath the rocks.
Come, Choctaw people, with your fiddles and chants to join the voice of the drum. Come and give thanks to Chihowa-la, the Supreme Being.
