Start in the parking lot of the Mudhens home field. Proceed east on the US highway past King's place and trun right at the Farmer's Co-op. You will be heading towards Gopher Hills. When the road "Y's" at Gopher Hills stay right onto Pavement Ends, since you are letterboxing, not golfing.
At the end of the road, go left.
When you reach the park sign for "??? Ravine Park Reserve" turn into the left side parking lot. You are nearly there.
Walk around the brown gate and past the mailbox and signboard to the green hiker. While standing with the hiker on your left look down the path to the "V" tree-htis is your destination, however when the trail curves left take the game trail straight and when you are even with the tree, go right carefully to minimize trodding on the vegitation and creating a visible path.
The item you seek is behind the trunk.
A note of advise-this is a very remote area with no cell phone service. I went alone, but a companion would be a good idea.
