I understand the book is full. I planted this while on vacation so I can't get to it to replace the book.

This is an easy drive-by. It can get crowded tho' so take the usual precautions.
Directions: The box is at the Rim of the World Vista point on Rte 120 in the Stanislaus National Forest.
Westbound it's the first Vista point you'll come to after leaving Yosemite.
Eastbound it's 4 miles after the Yosemite information center.
Clues:
Park at the Rim of the World Vista Point. Enjoy the view now or while stamping in. From the wall, walk to the right. Stop at the memorial to David Erickson. The whisper you hear above may be more man-made than indicated.
Start walking again and go all the way to the end and around the corner to the back side. Count the rocks on the top of the wall. Stop in the middle of the 4th one and look down. There are some small rocks hiding the box.
Be careful! It's a long drop down the hill so watch where you step.
