*** Box replaced in a slightly different location June 2007.***

A HAND-CARVED microbox that is a DRIVE-BY, possibly quite literally... If there is an event going on, you may have to jump out, nab it, and come back later to replace it.

BACKGROUND
Even before Glendale’s new Cardinals Stadium opened in the fall of 2006, it was named one of the “10 Best Sporting Facilities in the World” (the only one in the United States!) Featured on the Discovery Channel’s “Extreme Engineering” series, the state-of-the-art structure includes a retractable roof that opens in 12 minutes and a grass playing field that can roll out of the stadium for some sun! The stadium will hold 63,000 fans for Arizona Cardinals football games, the Tostitos Fiesta Bowl and the BCS National Championship in 2007, and when Super Bowl XLII comes to town in 2008.

TO THE BOX
From the 101 Loop, exit at Glendale Ave. and go east to 95th Ave. Go right, to Maryland and turn left so you're driving between the two arenas. On your left, you’ll see a tile wall about 10 feet high. At the end of the wall is a driveway and then a parking lot where you can pause. Walk over to where the tile wall made a corner. Go north from there, toward Coyote Stadium, approximately 30 tiles. The box is behind a bush and under a roundish, white rock.
