This Series is located at Island Lake Park north of Silverdale, WA. This lake is open for fishing year-round., summertime swiming and is great for picnicing .
Head north out of Silverdale on Silverdale Way, turn right on Bennington and follow it down hill to the Park.
You will see a sign for the Park continue left till you see a second sign, turn right into this lot and park near the rest rooms. The first lot is often full because the building is rented out for weddings.
* A note about the restrooms, in the late Fall, Winter and early Spring they are often closed, so prepare accordingly.*
These will need to be found in order so you can complete your quilt. And two or three differant colors will make it more colorful
# 1 Keeping the restrooms on your left head toward the water. Turn right on the paved pathway. (Do you see the log blocking a right handed path? Remember it for later.) Keep going passed the fishing dock till you are emerging from the woods. The first cedar tree on your right ,next to the path is sheilding box #1. Walk to the western side and under its branches. This may give you some cover from the pathway. On the East side of the tree under several rocks is your prize. You may need to be sneaky and quick to retrive and replant as this can be a very busy park. You will need to place this stamp in the center of the page .
#2 Return to the paved path and retrace your steps. Before you reach the bathing beach , relocate the log path. Jump the log and face the main path. Side step to the right, under the lowest log, near the eastern end. It's blanketed in green.
#3 Return to the smooth path. You will see a cinder block structure to your left. Walk to it. Now head North till to the end of the meadow till you can walk no more. There should be a set of "Firry Twins" to your right. Between them, at their base on the western side is #3.
Your Mini -Quilt should now be complete. And you didn't have to sew a stitch!
