Praying Angel Letterbox
Directions: The Coley Cemetery is located in Weston, CT on Route 57 approximately 1.4 miles north of the Merritt Parkway (Route 15) at exit 42.
This letterbox contains a first finder bonus!
Drive down the single path into the cemetery until you can no longer be seen from the road. Stop for a few “Beers.” Then go visit Ebenezer Fitch. From Mr. Fitch, walk left to the top of the hill. Find the stones that are barely readable. Look to the stone wall in the back – it has a greenish tint from moss (or lichen or something growing there!). This wall overlooks a pond. Be careful as this spot may be visible from 2 houses and one garden center if the leaves are down.
Look for this cemetery angel under the largest slab of stone in the wall…it’s on an angle.
