I have not been able to verify it, seeing as I live in Colorado, but this box was reported as missing to me on Feb 6, 2006. If you are willing to try it and take a look, please, let me know what you find. Thanks, Aljan.

*************************************************

This box is on the quite eclectic Venice Beach. There are some serious people watching opportunities for those of you who, like me, consider it a sport. We parked in the parking lot that you come into coming off of Washington and walked down to the main beach and shopping/eating area. We had a really nice lunch at The Sidewalk Cafe where they had a nice variety on the menu and tables right along the walkway. There is a nice view of the main area, with its large art type statue, the skate park and the graffiti walls.

***I am worried about the spot where this box is placed! If anyone has a bit more time than I did or maybe lives closer and knows more about the area and can come up with a better spot for this box to be placed in I am certainly up for suggestions! Get with me at AljanSundance@yahoo.com if you would be interested in possibly replacing this box for me in a better spot! THANKS!***

There is a police substation on the southern side of this main area. Go past the front entrance to the station and into the playground. Start walking around the playground turning to the right. Just as you start to come around the side of the play equipment you will see four small, cube shaped steps that step up onto the play equipment. There will be large window of turning cogs on the left and a red cylinder that has math problems on it if you peek on its inside on your right. Reach under the shorter, dark cube step on the left, if you are facing the play equipment, deep under the sand for the box. PLEASE BE DISCREET digging for the box, a distraction may be in order, and make sure that you bury the box down deeply in the sand when you are done stamping in! Children are curious little things! Really, PLEASE, I am begging here! Finders being discreet and this box getting buried back down into the sand is going to be paramount for this box's survival! There are plenty of great spots right around here where you can relax and stamp in. There is NOT an inkpad in this box!

Thank you for finding my box! Email me with its condition at AljanSundance@yahoo.com

Blessed Be. Aljan
