I have been made aware that this box is on National Park Service property. Although the land on which this box is hidden is managed by a partnership of federal, state and local authorities, a review of the legislation regarding the area has confirmed that it is, in fact, a unit of the National Park Service. Unfortunately, the National Park Service specifically prohibits the placement of letterboxes on its property. While technically a case might be made that as a partnership subject to its own by-laws and management plan, the National Park Service rules do not specifically apply, it still seems prudent to remove these clues from public viewing.

Although I may retire The Lady in Black in order to comply with the NPS rules, as of now she still exists, and is out there. Clues are available to letterboxers who seek them, if they are wise enough to figure out how to obtain them.
