This box was originally planted in Old Sacramento for the Gold Rush Romp and has been relocated to Placerville.

You need to find the coolest building in town, which was once Pearson's Soda Works. It is now home to a coffeehouse, and immediately next door is a smaller, similar building housing a boutique and a salon. I wanted to plant the box in one of the old mine tunnels that can be explored at the back of the coffeehouse (they are SO cool! literally & figuratively), but I didn't want finders to be limited to business hours, so it is outside. Stand under the queen that faces west (she is so boutique chic!), then take 22 steps or so at 200 and look left. Keep cool, be discreet. When I was planting the box, a worker came out from the nearby business--she had heard sounds. I think she will be a friend, but discretion is key. After regular business hours would be safest. If it is during coffeehouse business hours, you could take the box there to stamp in while enjoying a refreshment. Have fun!
