THIS BOX IS MISSING & WILL NOT BE REPLACED.
When we deciced to go to my sister-in-law's house in Minden for Easter this year, the 1st thing I did was check for any letterboxes nearby. I was disappointed to find the closest one was at least 30 minutes away. I did discover a nice little park just down the street from my sister-in-law's house that my daughter enjoyed quite a bit. As we played in the park, I noticed the streets in the area were named after trees & wondered if the park had any of the trees from the streetnames that bordered it: Larix laricina, Pinus & the common name for either Carpinus or Orstrya. After playing on the swings, my daughter wandered to the northeast end of the park & found a big white rock to sit on. She crawled up on the middle of the rock & I stood immediately behind her while we looked at the beautiful mountain view to the southwest. I noticed a nice spot a little behind me & to the right that looked like a great place for the Easter Boxing Bunny to hide one of his treats in the rocks. I hope he leaves a box there so we can find it next time we visit.
