First Aid needed- log books are full and damp. If you have some adding machine paper or are willing to cut some regular paper to size to fit in the pill bottle, I'd be very grateful if you could help me out with the maintenance (I'm in Indiana.) Thanks! Good luck with your search!

I used to live in SA many years ago. I returned to visit with friends and wanted to add a few letterboxes to the area. I chose three subjects (from many possible images) that brought back some happy memories for me. I have some pleasant memories of a few nice cowboys that shall remain nameless :-) This is the coyboys box, also look for Dancers and Longhorns.

Directions:
From Hwy 281, go east on E.Bitters. Stay left onto Starcrest as road splits. Turn left on Jones Maltsberger and go about 1 mile to the McAllister park entry on right. Pull in and park on the left at "Turkey Roost Trail Head and Park".

Clues:
Walk to the bathrooms and go LEFT on the path. Note: If you have eaten recently, please stop in the bathroom and wash your hands to avoid transfering the scent of food to any letterboxes you might find. This will help keep critters from finding them. :-)

Follow the trail across the road. At about 130 steps from the trail entrance (edge of the road) there will be the start of a 'clearing' (really just where the trees are a bit farther from the trail edge) on the right. At the farside of the 'clearing', look on the left side of the trail for a sideways growing tree about 6 steps off the trail. Look at the base of the tree for a small rock. There's a cute cowboy waiting there for you. He will be in a camo covered pill bottle. Please retrieve and re-hide him carefully and without on-lookers.

Let me know if you find him & if you want to 'adopt him'
