Campton Forest Preserve
Difficulty: Easy (not stroller friendly, but toddlers could make the trek)
Enter the woods and park at picnic shelter. Walk over to the historic horse coral. Go due East and once you come the bottom of the hill, stop. You will come to the first wide horse trail. Make the "right" choice, then stay to your left.
Stop when you see a sign of a person riding a white horse. From this point you will need to walk forward an additional 34 paces (large steps). Stop and look to your left. You will see a large hollow log and a large gray rock. Behind this rock is what you seek.
Directions to preserve:
Route 64 (North Ave.)- West to
Townhall Road - turn left
Preserve will be on the east side of road.
**After this box be sure to search for a second box planted by the GrayFamily 5.
