Originally, this was an event stamp only available during St. Catherine’s Irish Fest the weekend of September 9, 10 & 11, 2005. But we realize that some may have stayed away because of the crowds, so we’re keeping it in place for the entire month of September 2005. Please note that this box is on private property —church grounds— with permission.
Directions to St. Catherine of Siena:
Take Route 72 to Village Quarter Road in West Dundee. Go South on Village Quarter Road, and turn left on Galvin Parkway. Park you car and follow Galvin Parkway East to the crossroad.
At the crossroad turn left and dance a jig toward the exit, past the pine trees on the left. Do KNOT go past the sign. Turn left at the rock between the junipers and pines. High step to the right around the junipers to the wood chips. At the base of the first (Southeast) brick pillar you will find your treasure.
