This is the fourth of five series honoring the first five seasons of the Summit Players' Shakespeare in the State Parks program. There are two boxes in each of the five series. Additionally, there is one more box honoring the first Executive Director of the company.

The Summit Players are a traveling, non-profit theatre company. They are the only one in the country which tours a Shakespeare production to multiple state parks each summer, presenting a show and education programs completely free to audiences. For more info about the Summit Players Theatre check out their website, https://www.summitplayerstheatre.com/

1. Will In Shades
Because the Summit Players travel all summer long and share the words of Shakespeare across the state of Wisconsin, it only makes sense that the logo of the company (see website above) is the image of William Shakespeare wearing Sunglasses (Will In Shades).

To find the "Will In Shades" you will need to start at the northeast side of the of Beach/Picnic Parking Lot (the right side as you enter the lot). Follow the trail that leads to the brand new amphitheater (built in 2018). Stop and admire this beautiful, new area. It is the location of the 2018 performance for the Summit Players. Continue down the trail that you started on. It is marked as the brown/green/orange/blue trail. Follow the trail up and then down a smallish hill. As you come down the hill the trail will bend slightly to the left. When the trail begins to make a sharp curve to the right, you will see three large multi-trunked trees in a row on your left at the edge of the trail. "Will In Shades" waits for you in the middle of the first tree where all of the trunks come together. Please re-hide the box well when you are done stamping in. You can return to the parking lot by reversing your direction on the trail or you can continue to follow the brown, green, orange, or blue loops if you would like a little more exercise. The green loop is the shortest at 2 miles and the brown loop is the longest at just over 4 miles.

You will need black, blue, and orange inking pens for this stamp.

2. Twelfth Night
The fourth season (2018) of Summit Players Theatre saw the company mount a production of Twelfth Night, a comic romance featuring shipwrecked twins, lovesick rulers and mischievous servants. One of the central characters of this show is Feste the fool. This character was identified by the wearing of the iconic jester hat.

To find the Feste's jester hat you will need to start in Beach/Picnic Parking Lot and go to the playground area next to the beach. Head southwest taking the paved path from the southwest corner of the parking lot. Continue along the paved path until you come to a short wooden bridge. Cross the bridge and you will come to clearing with a dock on your right. Walk straight across the edge of the clearing and onto the red trail as it enters the woods. You will come to an intersection with what looks like a service road. Go left at the intersection and that will keep you on the red trail. You will again come upon a 4 way intersection. It is where the Ice Age Trail joins up with the red trail. At the intersection, the Ice Age Trail will go off to the right and the Ice Age Trail/red trail combination will go off to the left. From the center of the intersection go straight (southeast) up the service road for 24 steps. On your left in the tree line is a large rock. The "Twelfth Night" box waits for you on the far side of this rock hiding in a small pile of rocks. Please re-hide the box well when you are done stamping in. Make your way back to the intersection and continue on the red trail back to the parking lot.

You will need green, red, blue, and brown inking pens for this stamp.
