Terrain Difficulty: Moderate (moderate slope, 4.2 miles RT)
Recommended Ink: brown
Status: alive
Devil's Bridge is the largest natural sandstone arch in the Sedona area, but it's also a most heavenly sight. Come see for yourself while looking for this box.
Directions:
From US 89A go north on Dry Creek Rd (FR 152) to stop sign at jct with Long Canyon Rd. Go right 0.2 mile to the Mescal Trailhead on right and park.
Clues:
Walk on trail & soon bear right toward Devil's Bridge at jct. Follow signs to the Dry Creek Trailhead across Dry Creek Rd. Continue toward the bridge, going up a steeper section. At top of steep section and a little before the bridge, find a cairn of rocks inside wire. Continue a few steps past it, then go right 10 steps up to a small juniper tree. LB is at back under rocks. Please be discreet and enjoy the bridge when done stamping.
