There are several entrances to this park. Make sure you enter where there is a traffic light and the boardwalk entrance has has a cover.
Step onto the board walk entrance and walk all the way to the left to reach the stairs heading down. (In all I counted 74 stairs down - if I counted correctly.) Go down the stairs. Turn to the right when you have 2 choices. Exit to the right off the boardwalk on the right at your first opportunity. There are a chin-up bar, a balance beam and a sit-up platform here. Walk downhill past the sit-up platform to the corner where the boardwalk meets up with another boardwalk that runs parallel with the bay. About 6 feet back up the boardwalk is a huge pine near the boardwalk. At this point the letterbox is under the boardwalk under a bit of concrete and under a bit of broken boardwalk.
