Finding Finley LbNA #74764

You are looking for the Old Finley Road Loop Trail Head at the end of Finley Road. Pass the Tassajara One Room School House, (find the box hidden there). Drive a little further and park on the side of the road where it widens, keep the trees and fence line on the right. If you see alpacas behind a white fence you have gone too far.Walk to the end of the road and find the trail head and maps.Follow the white fence, admire the large rock forms on the left. You may see another alpaca or is it a llama? Walk past a white barn with a lion head. Turn left and go slightly uphill, veering right, fence line on right. At a mile you will come to a gate with advice about pets and bikes. Before going through the gate, look right to the fence post. Walk behind it and find Finley under a SPOS. There was a small amount of Poison Oak but I easily walked around it. Be stealthy and rehide well. Continue on the loop for a longer hike or go back the way you came to your car. Total hike 2 miles.
