Altstadt Brewery is an authentic Bavarian brewery dedicated to creating the purest, easy-drinking beers using only four ingredients: hops, barley, yeast and artesian spring water. It features a restaurant, brewery tours and a beautiful venue in which to try their beers, and I highly recommend getting a flight of four beers. Since there was not a good place to hide this box there, I put it at the nearby Texas Rangers Heritage Center.
Directions:
For the Brewery, go east on Hwy 290 about 6 miles from town to Altstadt Brewery on the left. For the letterbox, go east on Hwy 290 about 2.5 miles from town to the Texas Rangers Heritage Center on the left. Park at far left by Ranger Tower.
Clues:
Walk left of tower to sculptures of rangers with sign saying "The Legend, The Lore, The Law". Go left 13 steps to stone blocks forming a bench. From right end go into field 8 steps to flat diamond-shape rock. LB is under the far left end behind a brown stone. Please be discreet and replace as described.
