This box could not be placed at actual spot of the flight due to NP lands, so it resides across the bay at Roanoke Island.
Directions:
From Manteo, go north on Hwy 64, passing the Lost Colony. Just past Croatan Woods Trail road at left, turn left into park. Go right around circle drive and park at last parkin spot on the left, at far right end of parking line.
To the Letterbox:
From that parking spot, walk on road to the left and around to the light pole on the right side of road. Go into grass past light pole to the big pine tree. Box is at back base.
