Difficulty: Easy
Distance to Letterbox: 50 yards
This box is dedicated to the winner of the North Carolina vs Texas planting contest of 2020. It's now official, Texas wins!
Placed in a nice little park in Hatteras, NC, Hatteras Village Park.
Directions:
When entering Hatteras on Hwy 12, turn left on Eagle Pass Rd. Look on left side for small parking area for the park (before the park sign). Park in lot.
To the Letterbox:
Go to the Sea Breeze Trail and start walking. Soon you will come to a junction, with the trail curving right and a split off trail going by a picnic table and onto a boardwalk. Stand at the curve in the trail, and look to the right (away from the table). Walk about 15 yards off trail to the multi-trunk tree. Box is under leaved on the back side.
