Last checked/found: 3-SEP-18
Location: kraP etatS kcoR edR
Distance: depends on your chosen route, probably 1-2 miles roundtrip
Terrain: mild inclines/declines on red dirt/rock trails
Note: Daily fee or annual state park pass required
Since Martini Man & I moved to Arizona in 2016, we're interested in becoming more familiar with the state. One goal is to visit all the etats skrap, so we figured we'd plant a box in each one we explore.
Find a map on-line or get one at the park. Choose your own route to visit the Gray Fox, enjoying the views along the way. When you reach the intersection of the Fox and JA, take ~48 steps northwest along JA. You should see a multi-trunked pinion behind a juniper on the north (right) side of the trail. The box is under a flat rock behind the pinion.
If you hunt for this box, we'd appreciate an email message to let us know how the box is doing. Thanks!
