Sutton was founded as a station on the Matanuska Branch of the Alaska Railroad in 1918 for the sole purpose of transporting coal from the area. You can explore Sutton's coal history at Alpine Historical Park while looking for this box.
Directions:
Go on Glenn Hwy through town to Alpine Historical Park on left and park by Visitor Center.
Clues:
Walk on asphalt path behind Visitor Center, go right past restrooms then right past playground to just before Athabasca Winter Lodge. Go right 7 steps past a group of trees on right, then go right 4 steps to two trees close together beyond first group of trees. LB is between them under rocks and leaves.
