Take Hwy #2 into Wrightwood and turn LEFT on Spruce Street (where Wrightwood Elementary’s furthest corner is).
Turn RIGHT on Apple Avenue, then LEFT onto Acorn Drive. After Mockingbird Road, Acorn curves to the left. Go to the corner of Acorn Drive and Eagle and park.
You will be at the beautiful rustic Acorn Lodge which was part of the Overland Trail. Find the southeast corner of street, where you will see a 7-trunked tree. Look inside the ground between the trunks under rocks, leaves and bark to find the hidden letterbox.
