Easy find in best ever camping area
Hand carved stamp
North of Strawberry on AZ.87 look for the Blue Ridge Reservoir near mile mark 295. At about .1 mile pull into a camping area on the right with a fire ring on the left. Look ahead to a group of pine trees with 4 Gambrel Oaks in the center. The box is in the center of the square formed by the oaks, under forest debris and a couple of rocks.
If you must fish, the lake and dam is about 4 more miles down the gavel road with the last 2 on a true, steep, mountain road. Not for the faint hearted. The fishing is said to be good but only 3 spots where you can fish from the shore. Do some checking with locals. The road is not plowed in the winter.
