Hayfork Airport used to be used by the military for pilot training. Now used for private use. To learn more about it visit www.airnav.com/airport/F62.
To find the letterbox with a hand carved stamp, go to the entrance of the airport on Riverview road. There are 2 cement posts in front of a fire hydrant. Starting on the road near to the posts, head west up the road (away form the airport) for about 82 paces, until you see a short stump on the south (on your left). The box is hidden there.
