This spot is really lovely with an old covered bridge, a no longer used regular bridge and an Old Mill Restaurant with interesting lawn art. The best thing at this location is seasonal. Many Barn Swallows nest under the barricaded road bridge. They are a delight to watch swooping along the river catching insects to feed their babies. Unfortunately the restaurant is now closed and for sale.***Update: It looks like there maybe someone reopening the restaurant with a new name. Hope the food is good :)****
When you pull off the hwy you can just drive up to the barricade, not down the actual driveway for the restaurant. The pouch is in the bottom rail on the left end. And that is where Waldo is.
And even though the address in the box details says "Talladega" this really is the town of Waldo, Alabama.
This stamp is best colored with markers if you have them. (Red and black)
