Camp Galileo is an amazing place: a weekly world filled up with science, art, the outdoors, joy, rubber chicken magic, and an uncontainable mythology that grows wildly out of every moment we spend together.
Nemo spent five indelible weeks as the Orange Team Leader before switching to work with the Stars—a younger age group—as a lead instructor.
After making the switch, Nemo still got to spend lunchtimes with his old group. It was there, at lunch, that Nemo told the Orange Team about letterboxing. As soon as they heard about it, they zapped into action.
We (Nemo and the team) made and hid a letterbox. It is located at the site where Camp Galileo took place: Santa Rita Elementary School.
We ate in a shady zone that we called Nemotopia. We like using nicknames for places. Maybe if you find the letterbox, we will point it out to you.
