This prickly rose box is hidden along the edge of Watson Lake (less than a quarter mile drive off the Sterling Highway)
From the canoe launch area follow the path along the lake edge to the left. First you will notice a spruce tree leaning out toward the lake. The next spruce on the lake edge marks the Prickly Rose. Look down between the path and tree under a mound of moss covered roots, box is under moss and sticks.
This is a great spot to pick lingonberries (I feel a lingonberry box coming), if you go boxing in the fall take a bucket!
