Distance to Letterbox: About 4 miles
This letterbox is located in Garibaldi Prov Park, on the Cheakamus Lake Hike. Another great lake, but less effort to reach.
Directions:
From Whistler, go south on Hwy 99 for few miles. Follow signs to forest road which leads to parking for the hike.
To the Letterbox:
Walk the trail to the lake. Enjoy. Now return back toward the parking area, stopping at the trail junction (leading to Garibaldi lake). From sign, backtrack on trail toward Cheakamus for 12 steps. Go left off the trail to back side of the large tree. Box is at base under rock.
