The "Lost with Frinds Tour" letterbox was planted to start our Canada/Washington trip. It is located in Mt Seymour Prov. Park, just north of Vancouver. The park has hiking trial, picnic areas and great views of the city below.
Directions:
From Hwy 1 going north out of Vancouver, cross Hwy 7A, then go over bridge to North Vancouver. Turn right on Mount Swymour Parkway. Go a few miles and turn left at sign leading into the park. Go up to the "Deep Cove Lookout", and park on the left in the lot right after the overlook and at the road curve.
To the Letterbox:
Enjoy the view, then return to parking lot and go to far end to trail sign board. Go arond the board on the left side and count 9 steps as you go straight back. Now turn left and go up the hill to a large rock. The box is on the back side of this rock, under small pile of rocks.
