From the bonus box, base of corner post behind the bench you are sitting on, head towards the (Siamese) twin lakes. At 90 steps you are passing the old butterfield stage station site (these plaques are never where you expect them), continue in that direction. The rose can be found at the 20th rib on the right behind the lamp's power.
