*** Part of my Beer Series ***
Terrain Difficulty: Easy (flat, 10 yards RT)
Recommended Ink: yellow & brown
Status: alive
The Spoetzl Brewery, founded in 1909, is Texas' oldest independent brewery. In the tradition of Bavarian Brewmaster Kosmos Spoetzl, Shiner's little brewery proudly produces Shiner Blonde, Shiner Bock, Shiner Light, and several other specialty brews. Brewery tours are available Monday thru Friday at 11:00am and 1:30pm (more during the summer), but to find this minibox you will need to go to the Shiner Cemetery.
Directions:
From Shiner, go 1 mile west on Hwy 90A, then turn right on CR 348 (FM 533 goes left) for .8 mile. Turn right into second entrance of Shiner Cemetery, drive to the back of the cemetery and park by wire fence.
Clues:
Walk to the fence, go left a few steps and find a 3-trunk tree next to a green stake. The minibox is between the tree and the stake under rocks. Please replace as described.
