Park at the Tennessee Beach Trail lot not far from the Mill Valley, Route 1 exit of Hwy 101. Hike 1.7 miles down the wide, gorgeous trail to Tennessee beach. 85 steps before the trail drops mildly to beach sand there is a letterbox on the left, 5 steps down in a clump of grass, we placed a stake on the trail by it, it might stay, might not. On the right, also 85 steps up from the beach, up on a bank under a clump of some small bushes is another letterbox.
