Head to Meeman-Shelby Forest State Park. Start at the Pioneer Ridge Trailhead across from the Nature Center. Go down two sets of wooden steps and continue along the trail. You will pass an area with vines on your left and a big tree with a huge dark knot on your right. Continue on the trail through the cut log. A little further ahead on the trail look for double arrows (one navy and one white) on a tree on the left. Turn to your right a few paces up the hill you will see a huge tree with large root openings. Perhaps the Keebler Elves stay here? CAREFULLY make your way to the uphill side of the tree to find Starry Nights nestled in the roots of the tree.
