onE of the many thinGs we enjoy while on vacation in the oUter banks is watching the sand pipers LiteraLly run up and down the beach. we find it very amuSing to waTch them run Back and forth dodging the wavEs As they approaCh. they seem to Have an endless Amount of energy.
we have learned there are a variety of types of sandpipers- eighty nine to be exaCt. we are not Certain of thE type of Specie living on the beacheS of the outer banks, but this does not impact on our enjoyment of seeing this bird each year we return for vacation.
STOP
in the bush, low to the ground behind the piling of three.
please re-hide well, out of view from the general public.
