Just North of Bridgeport take the turn off Highway 395 to the Sonora Pass, and at 4 miles after the turn off you will pass by the Marine base on your right. One mile further turn left into the parking area for the Pickel Meadow Wildlife area and park.
Many times this pass (Sonora) gets closed in the winter, but the letterbox would probably be acccessable(depending on depth of the snow) as the gate that closes the road is right at the entrance to the wildlife area.
Go through the green gate and walk on the wide path/road to the large tree ahead of you just as the trail curves.
From this tree take about 50 steps at 285 degrees to a rock pile. On the front part of the rock overhang rests the letterbox under a few movable rocks.

We do monitor our clues and boxes pretty well and appreciate the notes written to us by those that find or attempt our letterboxes.
