Walk, bike, drive or take the ferry to the coastal town of Anacortes. You are looking for a marine research facility without being conspicuous. Do not travel very far, but please obey the posted traffic rules and the privacy of residents within the dormitory facility.
If you should encounter a man riding upon a motorcycle or accompanied by an exuberant cream colored dog, do not be alarmed. Stay calm and focused. Look as though you belong there and know what you're doing! Best time of day and night to search for this box may be up to you.
As you take your first left up a slight hill towards the residence area, you will note two sets of modern buildings on your right. You want to search the northern most tree right near room #8. At the base of a tree with a rock outcropping that looks like a fairy home will be an orange, white-capped pill bottle letterbox. You must be discrete.
