On highway 60 between Globe and ShowLow is a beautiful canyon. Head down the canyon from either direction and enjoy the view. Once you get down to the bottom, pull over at the rest stop there. The potties aren't great but the view is fabulous.
Take a quick walk across the OLD Salt River Canyon Bridge.
Walk all the way to the end and duck under the little gate that is there to keep cars off.
The letterbox is hidden Arizona style (under a pile of rocks) under and behind the first bush to the right.
