VELCO EXPLORING at BX Falls
This is a beautiful, one way trail along BX Creek on the way to Silverstar, with a trailhead and parking at each end. The actual falls are closer to the Tillicum Road parking lot.
Once you reach the spur leading down to the falls, carefully climb down to the base. At the bottom of the final stairs, stay on the trail and right away you’ll walk through two tall trees. On your left, there’s a long tree overturned that runs the length of the base. Step over the tree and walk toward the rock wall which faces the falls.
Look for two trees overturned with a large tree stump to the right of one and two, smaller trees, on either side of the middle of the other. Walk to the tree stump and step over the overturned tree next to it (it almost seems to be a pathway up the rock wall). About even with the stump (but on the side furthest from the water), look under this overturned tree for the Velcro Exploring Letterbox! The tree is a nice place to sit and admire the falls while you stamp.
