International Park
Yes! Atlanta does have a Beach, with water slides and Muscle Beach. But it is only open Memorial Day thru Labor Day. Park is open year round.
There is a parking fee of $2 cars. Beach fees start at $7 per person. They do have season pass tickets.
Short hike, could be considered a drive-by.
Clue:
Enter the park, take first right. Park in the lot for the trails. Take the path beside the lake, stopping at 7th tree on left. Look right. See those hugging trees (one is shaped like a 'Y'). Sight 70*, walk off-trail past 2 mountain bike paths. Beach is about 6 feet off the second trail, in the base of a cluster of small trees.
