Speightstown had an active Whaling station, this was not a whaling station, but the warehouse very likely serviced the fleet.
Heading north on Highway 1, look for and stop near the “Notice and Warning” not to trespass beneath three red peaks. You can pull off the current road on to what is left of the original road and stop. Enjoy the boats bobbing in the bay and find:
2 up, 1 down, 2 up, 1 gone…… check where it was and you’ll find the whale.
