This dam was built by the men working for the WPA. There were two crews of men that alternated working every other day so that more men could earn a little money. It was finished in 1937.

From Belleville, take highway 307 to Spring Lake. From the end of the pavement go .6 miles to the dam, park and cross the dam, follow the low rock wall to the end. Ahead and to the right is a large flat rock. The treasure is under the pointed end.

Follow the usual cautions.
