From the Miners Castle area, head southwest on the North Country Trail toward Sand Point. Continue for a half mile until you reach the first opening to a lake view, high atop the cliff.
At this pathway, turn left into the woods instead of right to the cliff. Continue straight into the woods for 25 steps to a small maple. It's not far from 2 larger ones, and it has a small crevice around back. You can bring the box out to the cliff for a scenic stamping spot.
