• Our Brownie troop learned about letterboxing while earning the Girl Scout Brownie Letterboxing badge.
• This box is hidden in the Wrentham State Forest, located on Taunton Street in Wrentham.
• From the parking lot, head right. Take the path to the left and go on the fire road. You will walk around a brown metal gate.
• Continue on this path. Keep the big rock mountain on your right as you follow the path.
• Go down a rocky hill along the path. Pass a big rock.
• The path ends and joins up with another path. Go right on this new path, heading away from the highway.
• Go up a little hill along this path. Pass a small grove of young pine trees.
• You will come to an intersection where another path crosses the fire road. The left has a stone wall and leads down a hill. Turn right to go up into the woods. You will know it is the right path if you see a tree with a hole in it in front of a tree shaped like a “Y”.
• Walk up that path a little way and you will see a split tree stump in front of you. The letterbox is hidden in that stump.
• Please remember to put the letterbox where you found it. Cover with leaves and the pieces of bark.
• Thanks! We hope you have as much fun finding our letterbox as we had hiding it!
