Park on Main Street in Old Town Cottonwood, AZ. Trail head begins to the right of the Wild Rose Tea House. Along the trail you will see several numbered metal leaves that had been used in an earlier nature guide to the trail. Continue across the green bridge and just after Leaf number 26, the trail divides. Take the trail to the right. Continue on the trail until you reach a concrete walkway that has several large cables attached. From there count 210-20 steps(depending on stride). On the ground to your right you will see a large inch thick cable.
Look beyond the cable to a large white rock that sits between two willow trees.
Letterbox is under the white rock. Always watch where you are stepping and check for critters before you reach for the box.
